Today I want to share with you something that has gotten me through my life in good and especially in bad times. My faith in God is strong and I depend on him through it all. I sing really loud during my Jesus Power Hours which is to and from work listening to Spirit 105.3 in my car. I try to do bible study every day on my own or with my son as part of his daily reading chore. I realize that some may not think they can find the time for spending time with our Father in heaven but nothing could be further from the truth! Set aside time for him each day like you make an appointment that cannot be rescheduled. Nothing can help you get through the trials and tragedy of this life like his written word. Follow his instruction, and do not sway from it. You will be equipped for this life if you pray and devote time to listen and read his word.
I have many more posts to give insight on how to become closer to our Creator. Meantime, always remember to pray the Our Father if you can't find the right words to say.
Our Father, who is I heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, power, and glory forever and ever. Amen.
