I sometimes use this blog as a daily journal entry to better capture my story and help me remember...
Today was the "Day After the 4th of July"! An entire day just dedicated to the aftermath of last night, or rather this morning as we arrived home at about 5 AM. If I tried to remember all the goodness of the day it would be too much to recall... the day was picture perfect and had the seal of approval from Mikai as stated... "This is THE BEST 4TH OF JULY EVER!!" His statements rang throughout the night...and for this moment in time I am the happiest I've ever been.
Followed by the day before last (July 3rd) as I left my phone at the 711 and it was stolen... but considering how very incredibly fortunate I realize I am to have the means to replace material things such as this.
Back to July 5th, I am still in some pain as I seemed to have pinched or strained between the shoulder blades and upper back/neck. We relaxed together as a family and had Starbucks for Breakfast (I couldn't resist the Grande Iced Vanilla Latte and Cheese Danish...fatty:) Then cheese quesadillas for lunch as well as nachos for dinner. Wow! I don't even want you to know what it was followed by on the 4th. Plenty of 2nd helpings and lots of drinking. I am going to blog a grocery list for the cleanse I am starting just as soon as possible. This will include no drinking, no smoking, and eating a completely fresh vegetarian diet for 7 days and continue to meal plan for an entire month. My staples make it easy for creating lists which I will share my secrets that work for me and my life, lifestyle, and my family's lifestyle-- I am a mother and I work full time so balancing a healthy diet is important to keep us all in the best of health. These include oatmeal and breakfast sandwiches, sometimes I bake bread and muffins with simple ingredients. You never know until you try some of these recipes, it may work in your family and it may not. I must say though, that for it to work and to be successful, the family MUST be on board to make some changes as well. So I will share with you how that goes as my son is the biggest carnivore in the family.
Ta Ta for now
