Hey all! HAPPY GOOD FRIDAY :) I myself do plan on attending a church service this evening but I hope you all at least thank God for the beautiful day today and for all he has given us.
I just wanted to quickly catch up the last few days/nights in the tale which is my life! Last time I left off prepared to watch the movie "In Time" -which I had been wanting to see for a while (it has Justin Timberlake in it). I rather liked the concept of the movie which is something along these lines.... humans were genetically engineered to stop ageing @ 25, and they are born with a timer that is digitized into their arms which begins on their 25th birthday with 1 year's time on it. If their time ever reaches zero, their heart stops beating. They use their precious minutes as currency, so everywhere/everything they get is paid for with their time so, for example, you may have a loan for your house that each month you must pay 2 days off your life. Everyone's paycheck is minutes uploaded into their arm, and so on and so forth. There are many different districts ranging from the ghetto to the rich and famous, which prevents most people from leaving theirs as they charge heavily to cross borders. I thought it had a lot to say about the economy presently in which there is a saying throughout the movie "for a few people to live forever many must die." I have always felt for the rich to have millions, many of the rest of us are borderline poor.... not sure if anyone else agrees.
Overall the movie was pretty good, with a few parts that were a little over the top like Justin Timberlake "playing to zero" with another bully by doing a mock arm wrestle but all in all I didn't fall asleep so it was pretty entertaining not to mention J.T. is shirtless in a few scenes (yummy!).
Anywho, time to sign off! Today has marked the beginning of Mikai's Spring Break so he's pretty excited to start enjoying the much needed (and long awaited sunshine). Hope everyone is having the best day ever, and a little affirmation for you to remember...

Breathe. Let go. And remind yourself that this very moment is the only one you know you have for sure. -Oprah Winfrey Love Ashley p.s. Here's a link to watch a trailer.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=efNzhEKm3w4 |
We watched this this past weekend, & it was better than I thought it would be. Really thought provoking when you realize how much time we waste in our own lives!!!
