Happy Tuesday evening everyone!
We are just getting home from a night out for dinner..... there's is NOTHING a girl like me likes hearing more than "what about that buffet we always wanted to try?"
For those who know me, MUSIC TO THESE EARS let me tell you!!!!! I am a well known foodie (in my circle anyway) and never turn down the opportunity to get an unlimited amount of food in my belly. Or, any kind of food for that matter come to think of it.... and I've never been one to be shy to pile my plate high.
Tonight's restaurant, as I mentioned before, was a buffet (Asian Gardens) in Kent. Now I have never been one to discriminate any all-you-can-eat so I rather enjoyed my meal, ESPECIALLY the Wonton soup. Just what the doctor ordered after a very long and busy day. Sumit's vote was about a 3 out of 10, but I went back for thirds (yes, thirds and again not ashamed) while Mikai thought it was the best dinner ever, but that probably was due to the ice cream machine and fortune cookies. All around a good family night out on the town!
Just a thought, remember not to pile your plate too high as we saw with Mikai tonight--- what a terrible waste of food. We did have a schooling about being lucky enough to eat-out let alone have that be our 3rd meal of the day. Take every opportunity to teach children how very fortunate they are, it's part of Ashley's Life Mission... raising Mikai to be the best possible human being. So unless you are prepared to shovel it in (ie: ME, whom I am so proud to say, did not let a morsel go unattended) try one of everything, then go back for only the best of the best if your ready for more!!
Now for a little movie night... tonight's pick is In time with Justin Timberlake. The review will be in soon...
